Community Ceilidh on the Guysborough Harbour
Every Wednesday evening in July and August, local fiddlers and highland dancers perform in a community Ceilidh on the open-air stage at the Guysborough Marina to celebrate and preserve our region's rich Celtic heritage.

Stan Rogers Folk Festival
Every summer the shores of Chedabucto Bay come alive as thousands of folk music fans come to Canso for the annual Stan Rogers Folk Festival. Stanfest celebrates the life and music of folk music legend Stan Rogers who immortalized the places along Chedabucto Bay in songs like “Guysborough Train” and “Fogarty’s Cove”.
